


2008 Faire Full of Activities
The 2008 schedule of artist’s workshops and performing bands has officially been released which will provide entertainment of all different types throughout the day for our guests.
We are offering a wide array of different types of workshops will that include drawing lessons, tips, as well as theory and even choosing the right art school. Most workshops will have an option of attending a morning and an afternoon session.
The Faire will also provide live musical entertainment from five bands including two sets by Fleischeslust and Quarter Circle Jab.

Fremont Welcomes....Special Guest
Oliver Chin
There has not been much Oliver Chin has not accomplished since he was the newspaper cartoonist at Harvard, where he graduated magna cum laude in 1991. Chin, who has been called a “comics expert” by the San Jose Mercury News founded the publishing company Immedium in 2004 to collaborate with professional artists to create children’s books.

Manga Art and Graphic Novel Expo Set for 2008
The fourth annual Manga Art and Graphic Novel Expo for Teens will return on Saturday April 26th between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Teen Center in Fremont (Lake Elizabeth).
Co-hosted by the City of Fremont and P.M.B.Q. Studios., the Expo offers a collection of Japanese style comic art and Anime, comic books and graphic novel illustration, 'zines and mixed media art, anime screenings, demos by professional artists, and a junior high and high school student art show.
